These seven yoga postures are perfect for mamas who want to open their hearts and connect with their inner selves.
Child's Pose: This posture is perfect for calming the mind and opening up the heart. It is also great for relieving back pain, and is a great place to start any practice.
To begin, come into a kneeling position with your knees hip-width apart and your big toes touching. Sit back on your heels and then walk your hands forward until they are in front of your knees. To begin, come down onto your knees with your legs hip-width apart. Place your hands on either side of your hips and press into your palms as you lift your chest up towards the ceiling. Hold for five deep breaths and then repeat on the other side.
